The success was born out of Art’s desire to transform a traditional system of leadership into a servant-led organization. As an active speaker, Art tells Datron’s riveting story from severe adversity to miraculous purchase, to a significant organization committed to leading for the sake of others.
Art has presented the servant leadership message to a wide variety of corporate, government, and non-profit audiences throughout the United States, and he’s particularly effective in reaching other executives who want to make a difference in the world.
Dr. Tony Baron
President of Servant Leadership Institute
Dr. Baron is an internationally recognized speaker, writer, and consultant on the subject of transforming organizations and their leadership so they can be profitable, people-oriented, and dynamically committed to improving the communities they serve. Since 2009, Dr. Baron has served as President of Servant Leadership Institute, a resource think tank on leadership development and transformation.
He has shared his expertise worldwide, including the United States Military Academy at West Point, Ford Motor Company, United States Postal Service, the Federal Executive Board, government leaders plus leading universities and hospitals in the United States. Board Certified in Forensic Medicine and a diplomate in the American Board of Psychological Specialties, Dr. Baron holds two doctorates in psychology and theology and has completed post-doctoral continuing education work at Harvard Medical School.
An author of six books, his two most recent books on leadership are The Art of Servant Leadership: Designing Your Organization for the Sake of Others and The Cross and the Towel: Leading to a Higher Calling. Most recently, Dr. Baron completed a workbook manual with noted author and business leader, Dr. Ken Blanchard, entitled, Servant Leadership: Transforming Your Community as a Person of Influence.
